Bangkok as the capital of Thailand is a huge city with lots of things to see and do. I have collected the main sights you should see while your time in Bangkok.
First of all, we`ll start with the best known sight in the city: the Grand Palace! Right next to it you will find the Wat Po, which is another well known temple. All of the area is spotted by colourful
Another fancy thing to see is Asiatique, which is a mix between a market area/shopping centre and an amusement park. With a free shuttle boat going here from one of the stations of the BTS, you can quickly and especially cheaply get here. For example, there is a big wheel and a carousel surrounded by roofed shops and some little restaurants. Additionally you can see some shows around here if you want to.
Wat Arun is not far from Wat Po and the grand palace. You need to cross the river though using one of the ferries.
Lastly, something you might want to see are some of the amazing shopping centres around Bangkok. There are a few special ones, that offer much more than just some stores. Read my post Greatest shopping centres in Bangkok to find out which ones!
